Looking at the past weekend in review, the Florida State - Virginia Tech game could have been a whole lot worse.
Sure, the score was ugly at 40 to 21, but keep in mind, they brought a lead against a top team in the country into the final quarter of play, and things only fell apart when quarterback Drew Weatherford left the game, and after some early success Christian Ponder struggled.
The good news is that there is no divide on this team. Compared to last year when frustration set in, every Seminole appears to be on the same page.
"I mean Christian Ponder coming in there, don't get me wrong, he played a heck of a game, basically it's been two years since he's played football really at a game level, and I can't take anything away from him, once that happens, it's the defenses job to stop them," says linebacker Dekoda Watson.
