The weekend got off to a great start for the Noles, they beat the Gators on the hardwood twice, then enjoyed a solid opening drive on the grid-iron...
It soon went crashing down from there. Of course, this was a season that many Seminoles fans wanted to see results. The coaching staff was overhauled with Jimbo Fisher taking over the offense.
While that loss to Tim Tebow and friends was deflating, you'd be crazy to think that the Noles have not improved on the offensive side. They are moving the ball aplenty, they are just a play-maker short of making those threes turn into 6's.
"Should have went for it on fourth, maybe we're thinking about it, but we said no we need to get some points there afterwards, but we just missed a 3rd and 1, something we have been getting pretty decent at... they did a good job stuffing us up front," says FSU Offensive Coordinator Jimbo Fisher.
