The Valdosta State Blazers were two different teams on Saturday. They were the team that looked awfully rusty coming off a bye....
Then in the second half, they looked like a Championship caliber team that outscored Catawba 42-13 in the final 30 minutes.
This weekend they face a familiar foe North Alabama. This is the same team that fell to the Blazers by 3 earlier in the season, practically clinching home-field advantage for this week's showdown.
It was Michael Terry who's touchdown clinched the win then, and he played a large role in setting up this weekend's match-up as well.
"Shoot, we always had a good running game, in Mike T and the running backs, and offensive line, they did exceptionally well, job it makes it a lot easier for me," says senior quarterback Willie Copeland.
