MIAMI (AP) _ The Miami Heat received strong support from their
bench in a 110-90 rout of Charlotte.
Ricky Davis equaled his season high with 23 points and Jason
Williams added 11 points and eight assists. Both players were held
out of the starting lineup for the first time this season as coach
Pat Riley tried to revive a team that improved to 4-and-10.
Rookie reserve Daequan (DAY'-kwahn) Cook added a season-high 19
points while missing only two shots, one reason why the Heat hit a
season-high 58 percent from the field.
Dwyane (dwayn) Wade scored 13 points in 26 minutes, while
Shaquille O'Neal added 15 in 22 minutes.
Gerald Wallace scored 16 points for the Bobcats after missing
their previous game with a strained calf.
Charlotte had dropped four in a row.
