MIAMI (AP) _ Pedro Taylor says he last saw his son, Washington
Redskins' star Sean Taylor, a few weeks ago at a football game in
Pedro said the two had a wonderful time, laughing and talking until three in the morning.
Sean Taylor died early yesterday morning after a gunman broke into the house and shot him in the leg.
Pedro and other family members gathered outside Sean's Miami home yesterday. He said the family was touched by the outpouring of love from the community.
About his son's killer, Pedro said he hopes the gunman will realize it was a senseless act and turn himself in.
Meanwhile, authorities continue to search for any suspects in South Florida.
The 24-year-old Taylor starred as a running back and defensive back at Gulliver Prep in Miami. His father is police chief of Florida City.
