David Dean Enjoying Successful Debut as VSU Head Coach

The Valdosta State Blazers are still fighting for a championship, and something that has gone under the radar about the club is that this is David Dean's first go-around as the head coach of the Blazers.

Sure he has inherited the program from a legend in Chris Hatcher, but the team has already advanced further than it did a season ago.

"We're very excited. We've been in playoff mode every since we lost to Delta State. It's been like a do or die for us. We just got our backs against the wall," comments senior quarterback Willie Copeland.
