FAMU Announces New Athletic Director

By  |

"Coach Hayes coming on board in January obviously that answers a lot of questions in terms of the administrative direction of the program." Says Sports Information Director Alvin Hollins
Under the direction of Hayes, NCCU won four conference titles and had five NCAA championship qualifiers in the 2006-2007 athletic calender. Hayes was also quite the accomplished football coach. In his 27 seasons, he amassed 195 wins.
So now with Coach Hayes in place to head up the FAMU athletic department, the Rattlers can focus their concentration on bringing in a new football coach considering we are in the midst of one of the most critical recruiting periods of the year.
"The success of the football program is key to the overall health of our athletic program." Says Ammons
So FAMU nation will have to wait to see if Hayes will help bring back the Rattler Mystique.
