ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) _ Marshyl Rothman made two fourth-quarter
touchdowns to lift Jupiter Christian to a 27-to-14 win over Florida
A-and-M Developmental Research School today in the Florida State
Class 1-B championship game.
The Eagles won their first championship in the school's fifth
year of varsity football.
FAMU was vying for its second straight championship and fifth
overall.
Rothman's 1-yard run with 9:31 remaining put the Eagles ahead
20-to-14. He added an insurance touchdown on a 9-yarder with 2:01
left to play.
Austin Lewis and Will Powers each rushed for a touchdown for
Jupiter Christian as it twice came from behind.
