It's a decision that will make you scratch your head, a local legend dismissed after a short career comprised of success on the grid-iron, but apparently it wasn't enough.

NFC has announced that they have parted ways with head football coach Casey Weldon, a household name in Tallahassee thanks to his glory days with the Eagles as a player, followed by success as a Florida State Seminole.

Regardless, NFC put that all aside as well as his back-to-back State title appearances, citing off-field responsibilities as a factor.

Casey Weldon will appear on WCTV in an exclusive interview at 6PM to discuss the shocking news.

I admire Weldon - he showed class which NFC does not have or will never have..... that school appears to be totally un-Christian.

Casey Weldon should go to Colquitt County and show Cokely, Chokely how winning is done. Only GREAAAT Coaches Win in GA. What happened to Cokely?
