Bucs Fall Short in the Bay

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Shaun Hill passed for three touchdowns and
Frank Gore accounted for 132 total yards as San Francisco held off
Tampa Bay 21-19.
Hill is unbeaten in two games as a starter after throwing for
123 yards and one interception. He hit Gore for a 23-yard TD that
put the 49ers ahead 21-13 with 14:11 remaining.
The Buccaneers had a chance to pull out the victory when Jerramy
Stevens caught a 24-yard touchdown pass with 1:20 remaining. But
Michael Clayton landed out of bounds with his catch on the
two-point conversion.
Gore ran for 89 yards while the Niners were holding the Bucs to
just 67 yards on the ground.
Jeff Garcia passed for 196 yards, including two touchdowns to
Stevens.
