There is no controversy surrounding the Georgia Dawgs. However, they do find themselves in a situation different and better than last season.
The Dawgs don't play their Bowl game until after that big countdown when the Ball drops.
Which means that the lay off is a little longer, and the rust, maybe more of a concern.
However, rust is not a problem for quarterback Matthew Stafford. He couldn't wait to get home and spend the holidays with his family.
"It's awesome, we have a long grind during the season and it's great to have a couple of days off for sure, they say try to get a couple of workouts in...otherwise, just enjoy your family and be around them," says sophomore QB Matthew Stafford.
