The FSU Women's basketball team pulled off its best magic trick of the season. The Lady Noles overcame a 13 point halftime deficit to squeak out with a 52-51 victory over Samford University Thursday night.
A last second putback by FSU's Jacinta Monroe dropped through the net as the Tucker Center buzzer sounded. Players crashed to the floor and the Garnet & Gold celebrated a last second victory. The win over the Samford Lady Bulldogs gives Coach Sue Semrau's squad a 3-game winning streak.
FSU is back in action for the FIU Sun and Fun Classic down in Miami. Saturday night's tip-off puts the Lady Noles up against Andy Landers and the UGA Lady Bulldogs.
