FAMU Women Fall 66-74 to Savannah State

The FAMU Lady Rattlers are having a difficult time ringing in the new year as they lost for a second straight time in 2008. The latest setback came at the hands of Savannah State 66-74 at Gaither Gymnasium in Tallahassee.
FAMU led at the break 36-30 and even stretched the lead to eight points in the second half, but then the Lady Tigers finished the game on a 39-23 run to win the game 74-66. The loss drops the Lady Rattlers to 9-3 on the season.
FAMU will now play four consecutive games on the road beginning with Howard on Saturday January 12. The next time the Lady Rattlers will get to play a home game will be January 26 when they host Maryland. E.S.
