The Seminoles should look to the Valdosta State Blazers for inspiration. Taking on a hot North Alabama Lions team last night, the Blazers out-hustled them, and performed quite well down the stretch.
The game was tight early with 8 lead changes, before the Lions headed into the locker-room up by one at the half.
In the second half, the Blazers built up an 11-point lead with 15 minutes remaining before North Bama fought back.
The game went into overtime, and thanks to the stellar performances by every player in the starting five, no one with fewer than 7 rebounds, and every one scoring in double-digits. You can imagine going by the numbers that rebounding certainly played a role.
On Saturday the Blazers are back in action against another rival, West Georgia, on the road.
