The Georgia Dawgs were in action last night, taking on Alabama at home. They need as many conference wins as they can get after a disappointing non-conference season that included losses to
East Tennessee State and Tulane. However, last night the team seemed to be at their best... They held Bama to 25 points in the first half, to help build a 10-point lead. It was a much needed win for the Georgia Dawgs.
"It really was big, all of these games are critically important to us, and especially now that we're in the SEC, it feels good to bounce back after our first game that we came up a little short on, and won a game," says UGA head basketball coach Dennis Felton.
