Georgia HS Coach Shockley Resigns

ATLANTA (AP) _ The father of Falcons quarterback and former
Georgia star D.J. Shockley has resigned as North Clayton High
School football coach.
Clayton County School Board spokesman Charles White says Donald
Shockley resigned January 7th. Shockley was placed on
administrative leave with pay on December 14th.
Shockley was head coach at North Clayton since 1994 and an
employee in Clayton County schools for 23 years. He also was the
school's athletics director.
According to a school board investigative report obtained by The
Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Shockley acknowledged an intimate
consensual relationship with an assistant principal.
The newspaper says the investigation found that he keep photos
of her on a school computer that were deemed to be inappropriate.
White says the assistant principal also has resigned.
