Lady Blazers Hope to Make It Two In A Row Monday Night

The Lady Blazers of Valdosta State followed the Rattlers footsteps with a solid start, winning their first 5 games of the season, and at one point compiling a 15-1 record.

They suffered their slump last week losing back-to-back games on the road.

When they returned home this weekend, all of their troubles disappeared. They beat West Bama by an even dozen, and now have their focus set on tonight's opponent Montevallo.

"We're coming off a two-game losing streak, we had to come in and regain our focus and play hard, and know what we're doing, we went out there and did, and got a W," says sophomore guard Leschelle Matthews

"We've really tried to get away from thinking about the results, our thing right now is concentrate on the process, and our process right now is become the best basketball team we can," adds head coach Kiley Hill.
