Buster Posey Predicts Big Year for Seminoles Bats

By  |

The Seminoles provided us baseball fans with a fine season last year with plenty of offense, and solid defense.

While a few of the Noles have since moved on to the professional ranks, there are still plenty of weapons that remain in Tallahassee, poised to make up for a disappointing post-season.

One of the players that plenty of Major League scouts will have an eye on is Buster Posey.

The Noles catcher has already been listed as a Collegiate Baseball All-American, as a first team catcher.

He finished fifth in ACC with a .382 average, and third in RBIs with 65.

The junior has confidence that this year's Noles squad will be potent with the sticks once again.

"Well, we expect to swing the bats pretty well, obviously after last season, we had a very good season swinging the bats, and now we've got some guys coming back... and some new guys stepping in, they're going to do a good job," says Posey.
