The Florida State Seminoles softball team will begin play just over a week from today.
This is a team that might be a bit removed from their glory days, but you never quite know who's going to be in for a big year until you get on the field.
The head coach is the same as always, it's Jo-Anne Graf's 30th year donning the Garnet and Gold. This will be the final season for star pitcher Tiffany McDonald, who set the Noles team record in saves last year.
And then there will be some youth such as freshman pitcher Sarah Hamilton. At this point in training camp, optimism shines bright.
"I think we have a real good chance to get to Oklahoma. We've got a great pitching staff, great hitters, we've got all the components to be a great team. We just need to get it on, on the field, and see how we do," says Hamilton.
