A Jacksonville University graduate who brings in a 183-55 record, Rush Propst became a national figure thanks to the MTV program two-a-days, however, he looks forward to leaving all of that attention behind in a fresh start with the Packers.
Why did the Packers bring in Propst, well the numbers speak for themselves. He went 115 and 11 with Hoover High School, and was the only coach ever to lead a football team to compete for its 5th straight state championship.
Nonetheless, he is well aware that things won't come easy in one of the toughest football districts in the nation.
"The tradition of Valdosta and obviously they had a great year last year, and then Lowndes County, but you just can't think about those two. This region is as tough a region as probably all of the southeastern part of the US, arguably, maybe the best," said the new Packers coach.
