Last year, you might recall, we covered a young driver out of Peachtree, Georgia in the 41 Machine at the Pepsi 400.
Unfortunately, a crash took Reed Sorenson out of contention, but in 2008 he looks forward to a fresh start.
So far so good as he finished second in the first Daytona Duel race today.
He hopes to keep the momentum alive for the big race on Sunday.
"Tire management is what I think will be the biggest thing for the Five Hundred. The car is pretty good... Just really happy with the way the car was today, and feel like we have a good race car for the 500," says Reed Sorenson.
