The Florida State lady swimmers and divers are wrapping up their final practice before they head to Atlanta for the ACC's. Good thing for FSU that the ladies are brimming with confidence.
"It's good confidence. We're just excited to go and compete. A lot of teams in the ACC we haven't swam against yet. So it's gonna be awsome to finally go against some of the girls that we've seen their results and how fast they swim. Finally to go against them." Says Swimmer Lindsay Kenney
"It's intense. It's a huge rivalry. Everyone needs to chip in with their contributions and points. It's all about the team, you know?." Says Head Coach Neil Harper
For seniors like star swimmer Lindsay Kenny, this is her last shot to represent the Garnet and Gold in conference."
"I'm a senior and it's my last meet. I'm just looking to have fun. I just wanna give it the best that I can."
But for the freshman, the ACC's give a whole different feeling.
"I think for our freshman, this will be an eye opening experience. Hopefully, we've given them enough ACC duel meets and going to an invite at Georgia Tech that they won't be in shock and awe." Harper explains
Despite lots of youth, Coach Harper and the Lady 'Noles have high hopes of bringing back an ACC title.
