There is a new high school hoops contender, and it seems like everyone is surprised except the players and coaches. Carter Parramore of East Gadsden has only had a hoops program
for a couple of years now, but they have gotten good fast.
Last night they hosted FAMU High in the Class 1A regional semifinals.
The Baby Rattlers won the contest by 17 points, ending the Lions season, but Coach Bobby Parrish tells us it won't be the last time we hear from the Lions:
"I'm not surprised that we got as far as we got this season. We'll be looking forward to next season. I'm glad my boys came. I'm glad my boys showed up. We showed up, we just didn't play well."
