FSU Football Hopes To Harvest Local Talent

We usually don't get too involved in the football recruiting game until the players put pen to paper.

Of course, at this moment, the players can only commit to the schools, we learned last year with Wakulla's C.J. Holton, that they can always change their minds, but this is where we stand right now.

Jacobbi McDaniel is a 5-star linebacker with Madison County, Jajuan Harley, a lightning quick defensive back from Rickards, Willie Down, 4-star recruit from Godby, and as of today, Chris Thompson, running back from state champion Madison County, they are all top 100 talents in the nation, and all plan on donning the Garnet and Gold.

Chris Thompson explains his choice, "It was the fact of staying close to home and good as a relationship I have with Coach Fisher, I felt like that was a place I was going to be and my parents also felt that that was a good place for me."
