TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) _ Florida State fullback Joe Surratt has
been dismissed from the team, coach Bobby Bowden said Thursday.
Bowden called the move ``an administrative decision.''
``That's the way it is right now,'' Bowden said.
When pressed for details, Bowden would not tell reporters why
Surratt was kicked off the team.
``Don't even ask me,'' Bowden said. ``I knew if I said that that
you'd ask a question. ... That's as far as I wanna go with it.''
Surratt, 22, missed last season with a broken leg. He was later
suspended for most of the year following an altercation with a police officer outside a Tallahassee nightclub.
The senior from Pace, Fla., has just one rushing attempt for 6 yards this season.
