Since the Florida State football team arrived in Orlando just two days ago, they have been constantly on the move, not necessarily all on the practice field.
Monday night, both FSU and Wisconsin participated in a Best Buy Shopping Spree as part of their bowl gift from Florida Citrus Sports.
Players were turned loose at two participating Best Buy stores in Orlando with a $400 gift card.
The only rule was, they had to spend all 400 last night.
Monday wasfor the players, and Tuesday was for the kids. Both the Seminoles and the Badgers took time out of practice Tuesday afternoon to visit some young patients at Disney Children's Hospital. Players helped spread holiday joy and lift spirits by signing autographs, playing games and giving gifts to some young football fans. As for the team, Coach Bowden says it's been the incredible Orlando weather that's kept their spirits high.
Bobby Bowden said, "You know if you had this kind of weather all the time, this ain't exactly heaven, but it's about as close as you're going to get down here, know what I'm saying."
