For Florida State, it was close but no cigar. The Noles came up short against instate rival Florida on Saturday; 21-14 was the final from Tallahassee.
The 4th ranked Gators were given a scare by the unranked Noles, but they held their ground and Dallas Baker's touchdown in the 4th quarter gave the Gators the winning touchdown.
FSU is now 6-6 overall. It's their worst record since 1976,
The Gators are now 11-1 and still in the national title mix.
