Jaguars Sign Former FAMU Quarterback

The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed offensive tackle Wayne Hunter on the injured list with a knee injury and have signed quarterback Ben Dougherty.

Hunter, claimed off waivers in May from Seattle, spent the first nine weeks of the season on the practice squad.

He played one game, was waived and then re-signed to the practice squad. He injured his left knee in practice Wednesday.

Dougherty, a first-year free agent from Florida A&M, completed a school record 62 percent of his passes for more than 5,000 yards and 32 touchdowns as a three-year starter.
