Over in Thomas County, the South Georgia Warriors are once again on a mission. Undefeated last season, they joined the more competitive United South Football League for '09, and still appear to be on the Championship trail..
The 4-0 Warriors defeated the Atlanta Prime a week ago, 19-14, and Saturday look for a similar outcome against the Gainesville Gladiators. But the Warriors aren't just concerned with getting into the win column, but rather how they get there. Playing a more fundamentally sound game will be the key Saturday against the Gladiators.
Middle linebacker Tommy Jackson said, "All we can do is really come out now and just prepare to make ourselves better, kind of make up for the mental mistakes we made against the Prime. Really we don't know much about this team, so our focus will be to come out here and just work hard and work on our mental mistakes."
