Florida State Sends Gladden Out in Style

On a night when Florida State honored their lone senior Alicia Gladden, it was the sophomores who stepped it up. Tanae Davis-Cain and Brittany Miller combined for 34 points leading FSU to a 73-61 victory.

Alicia Gladden said, "I give so much credit to Tanae Davis and even Mara Freshour for just stepping it up for me and not just for me, but our team, we really needed the win to get a good seed in the ACC Tournament."

Brittany Miller said, "Yes it does show that we're a young team and even though we have one senior we'll be even better next year and the year after that because everyone's coming up and getting better as individuals, and teammates, and players."

Sue Semrau said, "Alicia is our explosiveness and that's really fun, but for them to go out and play as hard as they did for "Ice" is really a credit to her."

Florida State wraps up the regular season on Sunday when they travel to Wake Forest, but the Noles have already wrapped up 5th place in the league at worst heading into the ACC Tournament.
