Sue's Got Game

Before Sue Semrau was named head women's basketball coach at Florida State, the lady noles program was far off the map, but in her 10 year reign, the program has become one to reckon with.

Time flies by when you're having fun and safe to say Florida State head women's basketball coach Sue semrau is having a blast.

"I knew at a place like Florida State special things can happen."

One of those special things happened 10 years ago when Coach Sue arrived in Tallahassee to become the 7th head coach of the Lady Noles basketball program.

Since becoming the head Lady Nole, Coach Sue has built an impressive resume. She is the winningest women's basketball coach in FSU history, 4 straight post seasons, 3 NCAA tourney appearances, and she is a 2 time ACC coach of the year and she's not done yet.

Coach Sue says, "I would love to see this program grow to a point where we can win a national championship. Football won a national championship, baseball is on the verge and we're getting to a point where we can dream that."

And if it's up to Coach Sue, that dream can become a reality.

"Growing up, I was taught that nothing's impossible. Going to Cougar cage camp in the 7th grade, I was taught if it's meant to be it's up to me."

And that is why coach Sue and the Lady Noles basketball program has gone from 5 wins 10 years ago to 22 and counting present day.
