Braves' LHP Hampton Injured Again

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) _ Mike Hampton's comeback has taken a major
blow.
The Atlanta Braves left-hander injured his left side Wednesday
while swinging a bat. He'll miss the rest of spring training and
could be out as long as two months.
Hampton is starting the seventh season of a 121-(m)
million-dollar, eight-year contract and the Braves had been
counting on him to bolster a rotation that includes John Smoltz,
Tim Hudson and Chuck James.
The 34-year-old Hampton went 5-and-3 in 12 starts for the Braves
in 2005, struggling much of the season with a sore elbow. The elbow
required major surgery that kept him off the field all of last
season.
