FAMU VOLLEYBALLERS EXTEND STREAK WITH 3-0 WIN OVER A&T

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Oct. 18) - The Florida A&M University Volleyball
team picked up their fifth win in a row as they defeated Mid-Eastern
Athletic Conference foe North Carolina A&T 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-15),
here Sunday afternoon at the FAMU Multipurpose Center and Teaching
Gymnasium.

FAMU (8-7, 3-0 MEAC) was led by Jovana Blazeski with 13 kills. Jessica
Bond finished with a game high 30 assists and four service aces, while
Susan Egoavil tallied a game high 22 digs.

N.C. A&T (1-22, 0-3 MEAC) was led by Janae Mitchell with nine kills and
11 digs, followed by Tiffany Mellette with six. Amber Inman finished
the game with a team high 16 assists.

WHAT'S NEXT: The Lady Rattlers will return to action on Sunday, Oct. 25
against arch-rival Bethune-Cookman in a 3 p.m. start in the FAMU
Multipurpose Center and Teaching Gymnasium..... This Friday's scheduled
league home match against South Carolina State will be played at a date
to be announced later due to Homecoming activities on the FAMU campus.
