Tampa, FL - FAMU volleyball set to face the USF Lady Bulls on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. in The Corral.
Florida A&M remained unbeaten at home in the newly christened Al Lawson Center, as the Rattlers defeated arch-rival Bethune-Cookman, 3-0 (27-25, 25-23, 25-21), in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference match.
FAMU (9-7, 4-0 MEAC) was led by Jovana Blazeski, who finished with a match-high 20 kills and 12 digs, while Maria Gomez added 13 kills. Jessica Bond finished with a match-high 41 assists, while Susan Egoavil tallied 10 digs.
The Series History with the Rattlers
The match against FAMU will mark the 21st meeting between the teams. USF leads the all-time series, 16-4, with the Bulls defeating the Rattlers, 3-0, in 2007 and ‘08.
