It was a disappointing end to a once promising FSU Basketball season. Despite, the strong talent including third-team All-American Al Thornton, the Noles failed to make the Big Dance, and it's hard to imagine that things are going to be better next year when Thornton is in the NBA, unless there's drastic improvement across the board.
Perhaps if the games of Isaiah Swann and Jason Rich blend a bit. Have Swann learn to slash to the basket, while Rich improves his outside jumper.
Have Uche Echefu and Ryan Reid combine a bit, with Reid knocking down the jumper, while Uche plays more aggressively inside.
In the off-season, there's plenty to keep your mind on before stumbling back to the disappointing season finish.
Coach Leonard Hamilton states, "I'm just going to say that we didn't get the job done, we didn't play as well as we had to play in order to overcome the obstacles that we had and that's part of the development process, but I do feel that we're moving in the right direction, but now we have to get the job done."
