VALDOSTA---- A reminder we're only in Spring, and while you can see the Blazers suit up on the gridiron, they are not ready for harvest. While they might be green, you can still enjoy the scene.
On Saturday at 1 pm, the Blazers suit up and scrimmage in the Valdosta State Spring Game.
This will be the first for David Dean as Head Coach, but perhaps more importantly, it will be the second for quarterback Willie Copeland. It should be fun to see how his leaderships skills have grown.
As for coach, he's aiming to make this scrimmage look and feel like the real deal.

Coach David Dean comments, "We'll have a 1 o'clock kick off, just like we would during the regular season. We'll dress out of two different locker-rooms, come out of the field and treat it just like a game, so our guys and our coaches can get a feel with each other on how we're going to approach our games next year, next fall."
