FAMU FINISHES SEVENTH IN MEAC CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP, SATURDAY

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Oct. 31) - The Florida A&M University Cross Country team finished seventh in the 2009 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships in Princess Anne, Md., on the campus of University of Maryland at Eastern Shore.

Norfolk State won the 2009 MEAC crown scoring a total of 33 points, with Morgan
State’s David Justus finished first in the individual standings in 25:44.6.

FAMU finished with 158 points, with two Top 20 finishers in Lamere Buchanan and Ryan Williams. Buchanan finished 16th with a time of 27:48.06, while Williams took a 19th place finish with a time of 27:57.32.

Here are the other FAMU finishers Artiom Podgainii (30:43.04); Ryan Singleton (30:59.72); Isaiah Coleman (31:11.35); Brandon Alexander (31:14.45) and Arthur Kinder (32:24.97).
