Hurricanes Sign Two Basketball Recruits
Forward Raphael Akpejiori of Lagos, Nigeria has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for the Miami Hurricanes beginning next season.

Coral Gables, FL (AP) - Forward Raphael Akpejiori of Lagos,
Nigeria has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball
for the Miami Hurricanes beginning next season.
Coach Frank Haith also announced Monday the signing of 6-foot-5
guard Rion Brown of Hinesville, Ga.
Akpejiori is a 6-9, 230-pounder who has spent the past two years
in the United States and attends Sunrise Christian Academy in
Wichita, Kan. He sat out his junior season in 2008-09 because of an
injury.
Brown averaged 15 points and five rebounds per game as a junior
at Liberty County High School.
