UF Basketball Planning to Reload Next Season
The University of Florida basketball signing class is off to a good start.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Florida Gators have lined up two
players to help replace versatile forward Dan Werner next season.
The Gators signed power forward Patric Young and small forward
Casey Prather to national letters of intent Tuesday.
Young, a 6-foot-9 senior at Providence School of Jacksonville,
averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds last year at Paxon High. He
transferred to Providence this summer. ESPN's Scouts Inc. ranks him
21st among high school seniors.
Prather, a 6-foot-5 swingman at Jackson (Tenn.) North Side High,
averaged 24.4 points and 14 rebounds last season. He averaged 28
points as a sophomore. Scouts Inc. ranks him 25th.
Werner, the team's lone senior, has played every game the last
two years. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 8.9 points and 4.9
rebounds last season.
