Before you start turning your heads to the spring games, do understand there are certain developments in the spring that come up big during the season.
Last year, a 5'6 QB burst onto the scene in the orange and green game. Leon Camel was soon getting snaps when it mattered.
This year we might have seen the coming out for another young QB. This time it's redshirt freshman Robert Love who stole the show. The quarterback an inch shorter of the 6-foot marker connected on 8 of 10 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns over 30 yards.
Coach Carter keeps his eyes open for these types of developments.
The head Rattler said, "Saw some players who were really competing and really making a push and solidify some positions going into our training camp in August."
