A little bit of a curveball this weekend as the drivers race on a Saturday. It should be an easy change to make for the likes of Kevin Harvick and J.J. Yeley.
Harvick said,"Phoenix has been very good to us. Obviously, we've won both cup races last year, won the Busch race and finished second in one, so Phoenix is one of the places that I grew up racing on, and have a long history there."
Yeley added, "It's going to be one of my favorite race tracks going to the P.I.R. It's a place I've been the most times of any of the race tracks we go in Nextel Cup Series. It's home for me, it's going to be a little interesting going back to the Car of Tomorrow."
It will be interesting to see Mark Martin in the Car of Tomorrow. The old school racer has yet to make his debut.
The wiley Martin said, "We really, to be honest with you guys, tested as well as we did with the regular car."
If Mark Martin can continue the same type of success he's enjoyed in the early going. A driver of yesterday will maintain an impact in the Car of Tomorrow.
