No. 2 FSU Wins Game 1 Versus 'Heels

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) _ Bryan Henry pitched for eight innings
and Mark Gildea had three hits and three R-B-Is to help lead
Florida State to a 4-to-2 win over North Carolina Friday.
Jason Stidham had three hits and one R-B-I for Florida State and
Jack Rye had two hits.
Henry struck out eight batters and allowed one run on four hits.
Tim Federowicz recorded a hit and an R-B-I for North Carolina
and Dustin Ackley hit a solo home run in the ninth inning.
Henry picked up the win for Florida State and Danny Rosen got
the save. Robert Woodard (7-1) got the loss for North Carolina.
