And the Nominations Please

The faces change, but the winning seems to stay the same. Which makes it all the more curious that Coach Mike Martin continues to tinker with his rotation, pitching Ryan Strauss third one day, second the next, and now he's out, with Michael Hyde slated to return to the rotation.
on that note, we celebrate the consistency of two players. Bryan Henry has been the ace of the club for over two years now, and Tony Thomas Jr has evolved this season into one of the best players in the game.
Some proof? They were both nominated for the Golden Spikes Award. There were 50 nominations in total for the best baseball player in the nation.

Second Baseman Tony Thomas Jr. responds, "It's just a big accomplishment and goal that I'm very proud of just being named to the watch list with all the players in the country in a big competitive sport and a lot of good players out there and just being named is an honor just to be on the list."
