TALLADEGA, AL----What an embarrassment we saw once again at the track this past weekend.
NASCAR fans refused to embrace Jeff Gordon, likely because he's from the west and not a good ole boy.
It's actually quite baffling since he's always been a class-act, and is already one of the greatest to ever race.
Like him or not, you should always be classy, and that's not what we saw this past weekend when fans started throwing beer cans on the track.
Not a good way to respect the sport.
Hendrick MotorSports Owner Rick Hendrick said, "You think about the people sitting down in the front row that get hit in the back of the head with those beer cans, so it's really for the fans protection, and the NASCAR officials spend the day down there. I don't know what to do."
