FSU Baseball: No Competition

TALLAHASSEE-- There's no competition for the Florida State Baseball team Literally. Tuesday's game against Jacksonville University was cancelled. It probably did save JU some pain from playing, arguably, the best team in the nation.

The downside is for the local fans who take advantage of every opportunity to watch the Seminoles enjoy whats shaping to be a special season. Nonetheless, I have to imagine that this weekend's games are going to be sold out, if not close to it.

The Clemson Tigers come in for a conference series. The Seminoles, by the way, have yet to lose one of those.

FSU Head Baseball Coach Mike Martin Said, "This is a marathon, it's not a sprint... We know we are getting ready to play a very good Clemson team and then a very good Georgia Tech team on the road. so let's just hope that we continue to play the game like we've played it."

save JU some pain? Didn't Jacksonville beat FSU this season? I'm glad they didn't play because a loss this close to the end of the season would hurt more than help FSU. Go Noles!
