TALLAHASSEE---2 out of 3 ain't bad. It is not often that i quote a Meatloaf song. I have never uttered, I would do anything for love, but I won't do that, and I'll be sure to never try to sing it either.
Nonetheless, looking at the softball team's record, I noticed that they are 42-21.
If you do the math, you realize, they have won two games for every loss. That's pretty good in my book, and in the ACC's minds also. It gives the Noles home field advantage against the Tar Heels Thursday night for the conference tournament.
Just over a week ago, the Noles traveled to Chapel Hill and took, you guessed it, 2 out of 3.
Brittany Osmon, FSU's infielder said, "We just lost to Auburn but fixed the mistakes and everybody is excited to come into the tournament. I feel real confident in how well we'll do."
Monica Montez FSU's outfielder said, "Really excited about it. We've had a good season so far and we keep improving so... I know we'll do really well."
