VSU Softball: The Best Around?

VALDOSTA, GA----If you're going to argue that the Seminoles baseball team isn't the most dominant college team in our area, your best bet would be to go with the Lady Blazers softball team of Valdosta State.

They earned the number 1 seed to the NCAA South Region Tournament, which spells home-field advantage throughout. They accomplished this with a 46-7 record.

The Lady Blazers compete against rival Albany State, who has the 8th seed, on Thursday night at 6:30 PM.

This is a double-elimination tournament, with a champion to be determined on Sunday or Monday.
