FSU Tames Tigers in Opener

The Florida State Baseball team improved to 43-7 overall and 21-4 in ACC play with a convincing 11-1 win over Clemson Friday night at Dick Howser Stadium. Senior Starter Bryan Henry went 8 inning, striking out 8 and giving up just one run to lead the way. FSU All-American candidate Tony Thomas Jr. reached base safely in all 6 attempts and went 3-3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI. Saturday the Noles and Tigers play game two with Danny Rosen getting the start for Florida State.
