Matt Miller pitched a complete game 3 hitter and Michael Holmes had 2 RBI to lead North Florida Christian to a 3-0 win against American Heritage a 2A State Semifinal matchup.
The Eagles took a 1-0 lead into the seventh when Holmes hit a bases loaded single to give NFC a pair of insurance runs. Miler made the runs stand up with the complete game, striking out 6 on the day.
The Eagles will play the winner of the Jay-Montverde game.
