It's a puzzling week for NASCAR Drivers and fantasy NASCAR Managers. A race is scheduled, but there will be no impact on the standings.
"To be honest with you, I approach it like I do any other weekend. We try to what we think is going to be best, and try to win. We really don't do anything different for it. Guys get pumped up for it, and practice for their pit stop challenge," says Matt Kenseth.
It's all part of the 2007 All-Star challenge. Unlike most major sports. NASCAR has the best of the best competing in every regular season event. This may take some of the luster away from the All-Star event, but previous winners such as Mark Martin tell us, there's still bragging rights to be won.
"It's a really exciting race to win, especially when you think you have a lot to do with it," explains Mark Martin.
"I'm going to runt he truck race, then the All-Star race, then we'll have another Sunday off, and just being at home is nice, you can hang out at the house, and just show up early morning on race day, try to beat the traffic in," adds Kyle Busch.
To beat the traffic, let's hope Kyle don't speed until he gets to the track.
